Feature Session: Pathways Without Barriers

Achieving the Universities Accord Vision Together

Join us for an essential conversation about the future of tertiary education in Australia and the critical role of high schools in achieving the Universities Accord's ambitious target: 80% of the workforce holding a tertiary qualification by 2050.

In this session, we'll explore the national imperative driving this goal, why it matters for regional communities, and how schools and universities must work together as true partners to make tertiary education accessible for every student who aspires to it.

Discover why early engagement matters, how VET and university pathways must be equally celebrated, and why labelling students as "ATAR" or "non-ATAR" creates barriers we can no longer afford. Learn practical ways your school can partner with universities to support student aspiration and navigational knowledge while strengthening career conversations that open doors rather than close them.
