Dr Scott will explore some of the greatest untold stories of Prehistoric Queensland, focusing on the abundant fossil records of Queensland and the Gladstone region. How do we stack up on a national and global scale? Our amazing and diverse past connects us all to form part of a national identity. What does our natural history tell us about ‘Australian’ and can this collective identity drive diversity in tourism, environmental, cultural and knowledge industries off the back of our ‘geonatural’ identity.

- Guest Speaker: Dr Scott Hucknell Principal Research Fellow Applied Palaeontology & Palaeotourism
