Telehealth Services

Our Health Clinics’ are proud to offer telehealth services to the community. Telehealth consultations are a great option for those who need to social distance during COVID-19, as well as those who reside in regional areas or have difficulty accessing face-to-face consultations due to work, family commitment or other health-related concerns.

CQUniversity Health Clinics are offering quality physiotherapy telehealth consultations to the wider community. Physiotherapists aim to restore proper functioning to the body or in the case of permanent disease or injury, reduce the impact of any dysfunction. This service is provided by CQUniversity Physiotherapy students under the supervision of qualified physiotherapists.

Physiotherapy services include:

  • Acute & chronic pain (neck, shoulder, elbow, wrist/hand, back, hip, knee, ankle/foot)
  • Sports injuries
  • Headaches
  • Exercise classes
  • Strength / flexibility programs
  • Gait retraining/assessments
  • Post-surgical rehabilitation including joint replacements, joint arthroscopes/debridement's, ACL rehabilitation, meniscal repairs and other ankle/back/knee/shoulder surgeries.

CQUniversity Rockhampton Health Clinic is offering quality occupational therapy telehealth services to children, teenagers and young adults (3-18 years). Services are tailored to each individual and therefore may change after the initial consult or while identifying goals. We offer support in a range of areas including:

  • Sensory processing difficulties
  • Self-regulation and challenging behaviours
  • Handwriting and fine motor skills
  • Attention and concentration skills
  • Play and social skill development
  • School readiness
  • Increasing independence with activities of daily living
  • Any other task or activity that children have difficulty completing
