HLT30121 - Certificate III in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care

This course is suited to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people working in health care support roles under supervision, providing generalist primary health care services.

HLT40221 - Certificate IV in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care Practice

This course is for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people who are working or training to become registered Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioners, delivering culturally safe health and wellbeing promotion, preventative health care and clinical treatment services. 

Fee-Free TAFE

A limited number of Fee-Free TAFE places are available for 2026 for these qualifications. Fee-Free TAFE is funded by the Australian and Queensland Governments and covers tuition costs for eligible students. You may still need to pay for items like uniforms or other course materials, if required. This funding is limited and may change.

Other funding
