Before studying with CQUniversity, Lahiru had completed his bachelor degree in quantity surveying and was working in the industry. He decided to further his education and study a masters degree with CQU. Lahiru is pleased with his decision as he describes his study experience with CQU as “really amazing”.
It took Lahiru roughly three months to find a professional job after graduation. Not only did his degree provide him with skills to do his job properly, but it also gave him the confidence to interact with people and build up team spirit, which has been extremely useful in his career.
Lahiru currently works as an estimator. His job involves estimating and procuring construction work, including preliminary design, and working with engineers, architects, project managers and other external parties and subcontractors.
