Margaret left school in Year 9 without completing any senior studies. She then decided to study an Advanced Diploma of Business and eventually completed a Bachelor of Accounting with CQUniversity.
After graduation, Margaret worked as a company accountant for ten years. Her accountancy skills led her to work primarily with employee benefits, which led to industrial and employee relations matters. This eventually resulted in her completing a masters degree in human resource management.
Margaret now works as a senior human resource advisor, managing both industrial and employee relations.
