Katie Murrell

At the beginning of her psychology career, Katie was working for a medical practice. During her time there, she realised that there was a need to help people with their mental and physical health. Katie has always been passionate about fitness, so she decided to create a one-stop shop where people could focus on their physical fitness, as well as their mental health and well-being.

After obtaining her psychologist supervisor qualification, Katie opened the first allied health and fitness clinic in Bundaberg called Btransformed. Through a combination of hard work, innovation, dedication, and her tertiary qualifications, Katie was able to make her dream a reality and help clients and the wider community achieve their goals in life.

Katie is an advocate of mentorship and lifelong learning. She feels blessed to have CQU as part of her journey and can’t wait to meet the next generation of allied health professionals!
