2006

I completed my postgraduate (Masters) degree in Information Systems from CQU (Sydney International Campus) as an international student in 2006. I am from Bangladesh. The knowledge and skills I gained through my studies with CQU gave me the confidence to pursue further higher studies in Australia. In 2010, I completed my PhD in Complex Networks and Health Informatics in a period of two years and three months from the University of Sydney. Before immigrating to Australia for higher studies, I completed my undergraduate (bachelor) degree in Computer Science from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology in 2002.

At present, I am a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Sydney. Over time, I have been awarded many research excellence awards, including the Excellence in Innovation Award (CRC Association, Brisbane 2017), the highly prestigious Dean's Research Award (University of Sydney, 2014), Research Excellence Award (University of Sydney, 2010) and Director's Award (Central Queensland University, 2006).
