Maria wanted to obtain a qualification that would allow her to maintain a family-work-life balance. She knew that qualifications from CQUniversity are highly regarded in her region, and since she preferred a face-to-face study mode, CQU was her first option.
After her studies, Maria was appointed as a junior project officer at Startup Gladstone Inc. Within a year, she was promoted to a project officer. Her position is centred around an entrepreneurial program that is written for primary students. It involves the use of technology, innovative thinking, and teaching business skills.
Completing a Certificate III in Business Administration helped Maria understand her position better and employ new skills in the workplace. Additionally, since her role involves planning and organising events, projects and volunteers, having in-depth knowledge and skills in Excel and Mail Merge is a bonus.
