Although I enjoyed my role as a counsellor in a clinical-facing position, I wanted more experience in the "business side" of it, especially around innovation and project design. I chose CQUniversity's hyperflexible MBA program to fit in with my lifestyle.
I currently work as the branch manager and counsellor at Relationships Australia. My degree has opened more opportunities for career growth and widened my areas of expertise. After completing my studies, I was offered a secondment position writing policies and procedures and designing training. I also implemented the National Child Safety Principles throughout the organisation for all staff.
