Prior to pursuing a career in Information Technology, Katerina's background was in digital marketing. She decided to mix her experience in marketing with information systems, which turned out to be the perfect match for her career.
After graduation, Katerina started as an intern at IMC - a learning management software company. She was responsible for assisting with the implementation of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM system. After several months, Katerina got an offer to move to the LMS implementation team as a junior system analyst, after which she was promoted to a senior system analyst.
Katerina currently works as a senior analyst and system owner of a learning management system with 35000 users. She manages the systems team within organisational development and is responsible for mapping and scoping new implementations, process changes and digital system enhancements, as well as converting the business requirements to system processes.
