Edmond D'Albret

Edmond was a solicitor for 15 years before deciding to return to study. He was encouraged and supported by his workplace, Queensland Health, to undertake further studies.

Edmond has continued his employment with Queensland Health to date. His Diploma of Human Resources Management gave him the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge required to complete his duties and responsibilities as a recruitment officer.

Edmond's job involves assisting in the management of recruitment and selection processes, as well as processing contracts of employment. He is also required to provide high-quality support, procedural advice and assistance to line managers relating to all aspects of recruitment. In addition to his main role, Edmond is a workplace ally, Shatter the Stigma champion and Emergency Control Organisation warden, responsible for completing quarterly workplace health and safety inspections.
