Shakir is originally from Bangladesh. He moved to Sydney to undertake a B. Business (Info Sys.) and later completed his Master of Information Systems. He is currently a Professional Services Office at SAI Global, where he has been working since 2007.
Shakir has received a large number of awards from the organisations where he has worked, demonstrating his personal commitment to very high standards. He was Most Valuable Person (2012), and also received annual awards for Operational Excellence from SAI global between 2001 and 2014. He was recognised as the Trainer of the Year (2013) and Best Trainer/Assessor (2012) by the Windsor Institute of Commerce, and for Excellence in Customer Care 6 times by Boljoy Pty Ltd.
