Peta Bosomworth

After graduating from CQUni, Peta began her career as a health and physical education (HPE) teacher at Yeppoon Primary School in 2000. She then became a primary teacher at Bluff State School from 2004 to 2005 and was an HPE teacher at Clermont Primary and High School from 2006 to 2019. She subsequently returned to her first school as a primary school teacher at Yeppoon Primary.

Before her degree, Peta attended Blackwater High School. She chose CQUniversity to study her Bachelor of Education as she felt the Uni had the best education degree on offer. Ultimately, Peta chose to become a teacher as she wanted to make a difference. She thoroughly enjoys educating students and keeping them engaged.
