Praneel is currently employed at the Reserve Bank of Fiji (RBF) as Project Manager of National Payment Systems. He has more than 14 years of experience working in various capacities for the central bank. Prior to his current position, he managed information technology at RBF and acted as Chief Manager of Currency and Corporate Service.
Praneel was awarded the Asia Pacific Leadership Award from the East West Centre in 2020 – which promotes a better relationship and understanding among the people and nations of the USA, Asia and the Pacific.
As an honorary special administrator of Nausori and Nasinu Town Councils, Praneel is passionate about transforming Councils to improve their productivity, financial stability, and service delivery.
