After graduation, Alana secured a graduate position in a busy surgical ward. She has since become a Clinical Nurse in the same ward, which frequently involves leading a team, and supporting her own portfolio of staff in their education and career goals. She is now studying a Master of Acute Care Nursing.
When Alana decided to start studying, she found that CQUni offered study online, along with residential schools and clinical placements local to her. This was fundamental in her being able to complete study while she worked and raised a young family.
Alana was pleased to graduate with distinction, and to secure a graduate position in a ward that was her first choice. She felt that she was heading in the right direction career-wise from the get-go, and quickly found herself in leadership roles.
