Martin Daniel
Dr Martin Daniel has an extensive career in IT, systems and business, with a strong background in higher education. Currently the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Informatics at Divine Word University (DWU) in Madang, Papua New Guinea, Dr Daniel's responsibilities include providing leadership in the faculty, teaching, researching and community engagement.
Dr Daniel has contributed extensively to the improvement of tertiary education. In 2019 he led the review of the DWU MBA program. From 2017-2018 he was the Manager/Director of the DWU Kina for Kina project, with a focus on reviewing business and finance projects to improve higher education in Papua New Guinea.
In March 2020 Dr Daniel graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy from DWU. The title of his doctoral research project is "Adoption of e-government in Papua New Guinea."
In 2017 Dr Daniel received a Research Excellence Award at the Divine Word University Research of the Year Awards.
