Human resources leader and surf lifesaving volunteer
Marie-Gaye Harvey completed her Bachelor of Business majoring in Human Resource Management with CQUniversity in November 2012. Marie-Gaye chose CQU because it was local and allowed her to study through distance education.
After completing her degree, Marie-Gaye has continued her studies with CQUniversity and is now completing her Master of Human Resource Management. She has qualified for a Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management but has elected to continue in the master's program. Marie-Gaye now leads a large team of 30 plus people involved in managing the employment relations matters, recruitment, and selection. She also deals with workforce matters of the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service.
Marie-Gaye's highest achievement was graduating from her degree all while working full-time and raising a family and is excited about having the opportunity to study what she loves.
