Dr Vincent Wee

Before enrolling with CQUniversity, I was serving as CEO of Higher Education, promoting CQU programs in Southeast Asia alongside the CQU Dean International. While lecturing at Singapore Polytechnic, the institution approved advanced continuing education for staff, prompting a group of us to enroll in the newly introduced Professional Doctorate program. I chose CQU to challenge myself and elevate my professional standing, ultimately graduating in 2005—a decision that spearheaded my career to greater heights.

My doctorate provided high-profile recognition and credibility across academic, consulting, and industry leadership roles. Continuing to expand my impact, I became a Certified Management Consultant, Certified Trainer, Certified Mental Wellness Coach, and UK-trained Cognitive Stimulation Therapy practitioner.

What began as a volunteer role supporting the elderly during retirement sparked a powerful career renewal. Joining a nursing home to design engagement programs for residents with dementia, my capabilities led to a rapid promotion to Training Director within six months. Today, I serve as Head of Psychosocial Program at Lentor Health, researching dementia and overseeing five nursing homes and senior day care centers in Singapore. My role involves delivering training across quality services, workplace safety, and soft skills for healthcare staff, as well as delivering public talks on mental health. Deeply committed to giving back, I also provide free mentorship to graduating students through CQU and Singaporean community agencies.
