Rami Almomani

Before moving to Australia in 2004, I was working in education in Jordan, where I developed a deep passion for teaching. Upon immigrating, I sought an Australian qualification to help transition into the national education system, with a specific focus on integrating technology into learning environments. I chose CQUniversity for its flexible, practical approach and supportive environment for international students. My CQU studies provided a vital foundation in digital systems, analytical problem-solving, and educational technology that enabled me to establish a successful academic career in Australia.

Since graduating in 2011, I have expanded my academic and professional credentials, completing a Master of Philosophy in Applied Mathematics at UNSW focused on mathematical modeling. My teaching career spans over 15 years across both Australian and international education systems, including a recent role in Qatar delivering Mathematics within the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IB MYP).

My work centers on Mathematics and Design & Technology education, encompassing curriculum planning, differentiation, assessment, quality assurance, and school improvement. I take immense pride in having taught diverse student populations globally and contributing to broader curriculum development. Outside the classroom, I am passionate about STEM education, mentoring educators, playing chess, and supporting student enrichment activities to foster creativity and critical thinking in the next generation.
