Podiatrist and regional aged care advocate

Podiatrist and Practice Founder

Before studying at CQUniversity, I worked in nursing, completing my training in Brisbane and providing aged care in Rockhampton. Witnessing firsthand the critical, unmet need for podiatry in the aged care sector inspired me to return to study. CQU’s local campus allowed me to pursue podiatry right where I was working, providing the comprehensive clinical knowledge and practical experience I needed to launch my new career.

After graduating, I refined my skills across several regional Allied Health practices in Toowoomba, Bundaberg, and Kingaroy. Driven to expand access to quality care, I achieved a major career milestone in 2020 by launching my own podiatry business in the Banana Shire. I have since relocated to Gladstone, successfully growing the practice to serve patients across both the Gladstone and Banana Shire regions.

My current work spans comprehensive foot and nail care, lower limb and diabetes-related health assessments, footwear modifications, and injury management. I am particularly proud of being recognized for my dedication to regional health and building a thriving mobile practice. Remaining passionate about aged care, I am actively exploring emerging medical laser technologies for advanced pain and injury management to continuously improve patient outcomes throughout regional Queensland.
