Engineering educator and youth mentor

Electrical Engineering Educator

Before studying at CQUniversity, I earned a Higher National Diploma in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering at Federal Polytechnic Bauchi in Nigeria. I chose to pursue my degree at CQU because of the exceptional support and guidance provided by their staff while I was researching Australian universities. The foundational knowledge and technical skills I developed at CQU have been instrumental throughout my career, regularly informing both my industry practice and academic work.

Since graduating, I have built a diverse career across major corporations, government bodies, and academic institutions. My professional path includes key roles with Aurizon, the ACT Government, Southern Cross Austereo, Telstra, and The University of Adelaide. Driven to deepen my expertise, I completed both a Master of Engineering and a PhD at the University of Wollongong—a major milestone that stands as my proudest personal and professional achievement.

Currently, I pass on my knowledge as an Electrical Engineering educator at Monash University, where I teach and inspire the next generation of engineers. Beyond the classroom, I am deeply passionate about youth mentorship, dedicating my time to guiding young people as they navigate their own educational and professional journeys.
