Since graduating, I’ve built a career at the intersection of media, digital transformation and entrepreneurship.

I began as a journalist and producer before moving into digital strategy and leadership roles, working across major media organisations and global brands including Yahoo, Nike and Coca-Cola. Along the way, I’ve received industry recognition, including a National Google Digital Excellence Award and a Fairfax National Innovation Award, and developed a long-standing focus on how digital systems can be used to solve complex, real-world problems.

Early in my career, I recognised the shift from traditional media into the digital frontier and chose CQU’s “New Media” focus to stay ahead of that curve. The principles I developed during my studies became the foundation for my work, shaping my approach to digital strategy, product development and growth.

Today, I am the founder of VetIntel, an infrastructure platform focused on improving transparency and accessibility within Australia’s vocational education sector. My work centres on applying data-driven systems and digital frameworks to highlight patterns, support regulatory visibility and advocate for better outcomes for students.

In parallel, I continue to contribute to industry conversations through long-form writing, including my work AI: The Beautiful Paradox, which explores the practical realities of AI integration for business and leadership.

Looking back, my degree provided more than a qualification; it gave me the mindset to adapt, evolve and apply digital thinking across industries in meaningful ways.
