Since completing my MBA (Marketing Management) at CQUniversity, I have built a senior leadership career spanning more than two decades in the Middle East’s hospitality industry. I currently serve as the CEO of a leading hospitality organisation, where I oversee the growth and strategic direction of multiple international restaurant brands.
Across 24 years in the sector, I have led iconic food and beverage brands including Applebee’s, IHOP, Ocean Basket, and Macaroni Grill. My roles have focused on driving expansion, improving operational performance, and building people-centred cultures that deliver strong business results. I have also been responsible for turning around underperforming brands, executing growth strategies that have delivered double-digit performance, and leading large multicultural teams across several markets.
My reputation as a hospitality leader has led to regular invitations to speak at global conferences where I share insights on leadership transformation, customer experience, and the future of food and beverage in emerging markets. I have been featured in major industry publications such as Forbes and have received multiple awards for leadership and business impact.
Before studying at CQUniversity, I was determined to pursue an MBA in Australia to build a strong global business foundation. CQUniversity appealed to me because of its industry-focused learning experience and cultural diversity. Studying in Sydney exposed me to a broad mix of international peers and business perspectives, which has been invaluable in managing multinational teams across the Middle East.
The MBA equipped me with practical corporate skills from strategic thinking to communication, presentations, casework, and team leadership. These experiences helped build the confidence and capability needed to step into senior leadership roles and progress to CEO level.
