Jaswinder Kaur

Since completing her Master of Information Technology (Networking) at CQUniversity, Jaswinder has built a rewarding career in the IT sector. She began working with her current organisation in July 2024 as a Moodle Support Officer, where she developed a strong understanding of the systems and processes that support both staff and students. As her confidence and experience grew, she took on additional administrative responsibilities, broadening her technical and organisational skills. Her dedication and commitment led to a full-time role as an IT Support Officer, where she now provides technical assistance, troubleshoots IT issues and supports the day-to-day technology needs of the organisation.

Before studying at CQU, Jaswinder worked in academia for around five years as an Assistant Professor after completing a Bachelor and Master of Computer Applications. Her teaching experience deepened her technical expertise and inspired her to gain more hands-on experience in computer networking. Drawn to Brisbane’s multicultural environment and high quality of life, Jaswinder chose CQUniversity for its industry-focused master’s program, which aligned perfectly with her career goals.

Today, Jaswinder continues to apply her academic knowledge and practical experience to deliver efficient IT solutions and user support. The skills she developed through her studies at CQU — particularly in problem-solving, adaptability and technical proficiency — have been instrumental in shaping her ongoing professional growth in the ever-evolving world of technology.
