Recently retired, Mark’s career is somewhat unusual in that it combined extensive commercial, social impact and sports experience. 

In 2016, Mark joined Atlassian as Head of the Atlassian Foundation, one of Australia’s largest philanthropic foundations. While at Atlassian, Mark was also Chair of the Pledge 1% Advisory Board. Pledge 1% is a USA-based non-profit with the mission of inspiring and supporting businesses globally to use their resources as a force for good. 

Prior to joining Atlassian, Mark had a 33-year career at PwC, including more than 20 years as an Advisory Partner providing valuation & strategy-related services. From 2011 until 2016, Mark was PwC Australia’s Corporate Responsibility Partner and a member of PwC’s Global Corporate Responsibility Board.

Mark’s experience also includes six years as Deputy Chairman of Football NSW and being heavily involved in Football Australia’s bid to host the FIFA World Cup.
