Ramesh Anthony

Ramesh completed his Master of Business Administration in November 2009. Ramesh accessed the wide range of student support provided by CQUniversity, from academic assistance to student support and assistance with career progress.

Skills developed through his degree and his professional experience resulted in Ramesh being highly skilled in driving strategy, financial planning, investment and portfolio management, Financial models and financial forecasting of banks and blue-chip congregates, and business analysis. Until 2025, he worked for NDB Securities, first as a Senior Investment Advisor, and then as a Business Consultant. 

More recently, he has started his own business as an independent financial professional, providing financial literacy services and helping clients make informed decisions about money management, financial independence and long-term goals. Ramesh strongly believes in supporting his fellow citizens and also undertakes volunteer work, offering pro bono financial literacy support to marginalised community members who may not otherwise be able to access paid services.

Ramesh is a CQU Alumni Ambassador supporting potential, current and former members of the CQU community with any questions they may have about the study experience or about Sri Lanka.
