I chose the gerontology program at CQU to expand my knowledge in this area, as we have an ageing population in Australia, with complex healthcare needs. The course at CQU was holistic and entirely online, which suited me perfectly.
I am now working in inpatient rehabilitation, and I have occasionally covered outpatient cardiac rehabilitation groups, and acute orthopaedic and general medicine wards.
