Christine Caldwell

I have over 30 years experience in the retail sector in Australia. Initially starting my career in Human Resources Management and moving to product buying/sourcing/manufacturing since 2002 in industries including sporting apparel and products, outdoor apparel, and furniture. My work has taken me around the world to source the best available products and opportunities for Australian consumers. My largest product portfolio was $270M category across two national furniture retailers.

My most recent role was as a National Account Manager for an online startup in furniture and mattresses. My customers were Temple & Webster, Kmart Aus & NZ, and Fantastic Furniture. Once the business was established, I decided to go back to full time study towards a PhD at CQUniversity. My thesis is about integrating AI in retail frontlines.
