Chloe Shieh

I was in Year 11, just thinking about what I would study after high school. Since the highest scores I received were in music, my teachers at school were very helpful and gave me suggestions to study Music at university. After some research and discussion, I decided to give the Start Uni Now (SUN) Program a try, to start university studies at the same time as I started Year 12. From there CQUniversity gave me a direct offer to go straight into full-time study after high school graduation.

After graduating CQUniversity with a Bachelor of Music (Performance) I got a job offer as a music teacher at a private school. I now teach both primary and secondary school students instrumental music including violin, viola, and cello. I am also able to arrange and write music because of the skills I learnt while at uni, and it has come in handy multiple times in my career so far. If it weren't for CQU, I would not be where I am today.
