Before CQUniversity, I finished my undergraduate program in chemical engineering back in my home country of The Philippines. I was affected by the pandemic and did not have a chance to be part of the industry right away. I got involved in a construction company that got me exposed to the project management space. This led me to check out possibilities on moving on with project management and that lead me to finding out about the degree in Australia.
After graduating with my masters degree in project management, I went straight to AusNet Services in their graduate program in the 2024 intake cohort. So far I have experienced four teams within the company: project development, project delivery, design management, and asset management. This was in line with my career goals as a project management professional - I wanted to be involved in all stages of the project lifecycle.
