Thi Truc Huong Nguyen

I graduated from the University of Economics in Ho Chi Minh City and worked for the Military Bank of Vietnam afterwards. After 5 years of working in the financial industry, I found that the financial industry day by day became more difficult, unpredictable, and challenging. I want to go far in this industry, so I decided to continue my learning. CQU came highly recommended by a customer and was a great fit. I learned to talk, think, and read in another language, which is the most incredible thing that I ever thought I could do, and I had a chance to approach new learning methods in another country, which was so exciting. On the other hand, MPA has given me a huge foundation of usable knowledge and is the primary building block of my career so far.

Since graduating with a Master of Professional Accounting (MPA) from CQUniversity in July 2024, I have been focusing on further developing my knowledge and skills in accounting. During my studies, I built a strong foundation in financial management, tax accounting, and auditing, which I am eager to apply in a professional setting. I am currently exploring opportunities to start my career, aiming to contribute to organisations by delivering accurate financial insights and solutions. My goal is to gain hands-on experience, grow as a professional, and eventually specialise in areas such as financial analysis or compliance.
