Sai Kumar Gande

With my initial education taking place in India, I came to Australia and completed my Master of Project Management with CQUniversity in 2020. While the job market proved tough after graduation, I stayed persistent and, one fine day, found life-changing work as a Site Engineer. 

In this role, I have many key duties ranging from project management and quality control to compliance and cost management. My main responsibilities include managing project operations on construction sites, coordinating schedules, and supervising daily activities. I also ensure that construction techniques and materials meet the required standards, handle quality control, and implement safety protocols to keep everyone on site safe. I work closely with architects, contractors, and other engineers to resolve any design or construction challenges, document project progress, and keep accurate records of any changes.

These duties require a blend of technical expertise, managerial skills, and strong problem-solving abilities which I have now applied at various civil companies across Queensland.
