I have successfully completed my Honours degree with First Class, focusing on a qualitative thesis examining homelessness issues in regional Queensland. While working full-time in a different industry during the COVID-19 pandemic, I reflected on my career path and realized that, while I enjoyed my job, it was not my true passion. This led me to reassess my goals, reconnect with my interests, and take the necessary steps to enrol in university to pursue my ultimate career aspirations.

Throughout my studies, I have balanced full-time coursework with my role as a casual PASS leader at the university, where I assisted undergraduate students in research methods. I have thoroughly enjoyed mentoring students and fostering their academic growth, which has strengthened my passion for both psychology and education. Looking ahead, I aspire to pursue a joint career in academia and professional practice as a registered general psychologist, combining research, teaching, and clinical work to contribute meaningfully to the field.
