I completed the Bachelor of Laws with Distinction in 2017 and was admitted to Legal Practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2018.

I returned to study law as a mature age student in 2014; previously working as a primary school teacher, in the trade union movement and with the Federal Government. Whilst I was taking time out of the workforce to raise my two beautiful boys I decided to take up the CQU Bachelor of Laws 100% online course whilst living in regional Victoria.

I completed the degree in three years and still to this day retain great friendships with fellow students at the Uni that have gone on to have amazing careers within the Legal Profession. CQU offered flexibility and great home life and study balance; allowing me to achieve a goal of become a lawyer and being of assistance to others in my community. I am now a Senior Associate at Slater & Gordon in Geelong Victoria, and working predominately in Personal Injury Litigation.
