I started at CQUni straight out of high school. After graduating, I worked for Data#3 for several years in level 2/3 IT technician roles before moving into education with CQ Tafe in the IT Department in various support roles across different campuses for a few years.
After this I moved into mining IT support, first as a contractor then permanent with Anglo American as an IT Manager for 10 years, before moving into my current role covering all IT/OT aspects for several mining operations.
My degree helped me get started in IT and get a foot in the door. I am now studying a Diploma of Project Management as well.
