I finished my Bachelor of Business Administration from Tribhuvan University in Nepal and worked for the Rastriya Vanijya Bank, Thamel for three months. I decided to come to Australia to enhance my career. I did the Master of Professional Accounting to help me to understand the finance and accounting culture in Australia and am currently working as a Finance Officer for the Tasmanian Department of Health. Prior to this, I was an Account Assistant at HS Fresh Food.

I have also volunteered as Secretary at the International Nepali Literary Society in Tasmania since 2022. Prior to this, I volunteered as an executive member in Nepali society of Tasmania from 2018 - 2020 and in the event office at the Council of International Student Australia between 2018 and 2019.

In my spare time, I also volunteer with the Tasmania SES in the General Response Unit, and with the Red Cross as a Deputy Operations Officer.

I am the author of the book 'FERIYEKO MAYA' The untold love story which was published in 2022. I am a freelance writer and started own blog. Volunteering and writing are my passions.
