Before joining CQU I was Administrative Staff in the Statutory Board in Singapore (2001 to 2008). I also served in the Ministry of Home Affairs (Government Service) as a Law Enforcement Officer for 22 years.

I failed my senior school certificate (Senior Cambridge) but throughout my career I wanted to prove that I was able to be a success. While in service I studied at night while working and obtained 10 diplomas. In my MBA I obtained 4 distinction grades, so I thank CQU for allowing me to prove to myself that at my elderly age of 50 plus I still can obtain good results.

After graduation I went back to my country and although I still can be employed I choose to be a volunteer worker for the Ministry of Education and I now coach Primary One students in Maths.
