I was a chef in my early 20s and gave that up to become a teacher by studying a Bachelor of Education. I started teaching primary but was keen for a change and I missed cooking as a profession.
I studied a Diploma of a hospitality management with CQU, and I am now teaching high school seniors the Certificate 2 and 3 in Hospitality, including the applied subjects.
I am loving my new position which combines my career interests. My students love learning the pathway into a hospitality profession.
