I worked in the tourism industry for five years before my gap year in Australia. After that I experienced the challenges of running my own travel agency in Cairns. I decided to pursue further studies to deepen my knowledge of sustainable tourism practices and explore new career opportunities.
After completing my Masters in Sustainable Tourism Management from CQUniversity, I joined Pullman Cairns International as a conference and event coordinator. In this role, I am responsible for organizing and executing events, including conferences, seminars, weddings, and social events.
As an international student, CQUniversity provided a bridge to connect my past experience in China to my future career in Australia. The university offered resources and opportunities that were instrumental in shaping my career path.
