Glencore apprentices showcase their skills at CQUni Emerald

First year Glencore apprentices had the opportunity to showcase their skills during a special presentation at CQUniversity Emerald Campus recently.
Coal Assets Australia Glencore Projects and Training Engineer Paul Gill said 21 apprentices presented what they had learned while in the skills centre for six months.
“This opportunity provided their supervisors with some insight to their trades capability and diligence as a future trades people,” he said.
“Fourteen site personnel attended the event, to listen to their presentations and review their projects.
“Congratulations to the apprentices and special thanks goes to the staff at CQUniversity Emerald Campus and supporting campuses.”
CQUniversity Associate Vice-Chancellor Blake Repine said the presentation was a wonderful opportunity for the apprentices to show how their skills had developed and grown.
“We wish these apprentices all the best in their careers,” he said.
