Why choose CQUni
CQUniversity ranks among the world’s top 600 universities according to the prestigious and trusted Times Higher Education World University Rankings (2017–2018). Founded in 2004, these rankings provide a definitive list of the world's best universities, evaluated across teaching, research, international outlook, reputation and more. With more than 26 000 universities across the globe, this result places CQUniversity among the top two per cent of universities worldwide. Along with this, Times Higher Education also recognised CQUniversity as one of the world’s best young universities, ranking at 90th place out of 200 institutions under 50 years of age in 2017.
CQUniversity’s engineering and technology courses have also been recognised among the best in the world in the 2017 Times Higher Education Subject Rankings.
Current Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching (QILT) results show that CQUniversity has some of the best graduate outcomes in Australia when it comes to important measures such as full-time domestic undergraduate employment and median salaries. In fact, CQUniversity is ranked among the top four universities in Australia for domestic undergraduate full-time employment with 80.6 per cent of graduates finding full-time employment within three months of graduation. This figure is more than 10 per cent higher than the national average of 69.5 per cent. On top of this CQUniversity is also ranked second for median salaries ($60 000). The QILT website helps prospective students compare official study experience and employment outcomes data from Australian higher education systems.
