With more than 26 000 universities across the globe, this places CQUniversity among the top two per cent of universities worldwide. The Good Universities Guide provides independent five-star performance ratings for every university in Australia, based on student-relevant criteria. CQUniversity was awarded five-star ratings by The Good Universities Guide 2019 for its ratio of first-generation students, full-time employment, overall experience, social equity, starting salary and teaching quality, placing us in the top 20 per cent of Universities in Australia in these categories.
Current Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching (QILT) results show that CQUniversity has some of the best graduate outcomes in Australia when it comes to important measures such as full-time domestic undergraduate employment and median salaries. Specifically, more (79.9%) CQUniversity graduates secure full-time employment within three months of graduating than the national average (71.9). Current QILT data also shows that CQUniversity outperforms the national average on undergraduate alumni starting salaries ($64 000 vs $60 000) and student satisfaction (76.1% vs 72.2%). CQUniversity also outperforms the sector for postgraduate student outcomes such as salary, employment, skills and support, according to QILT.

The ERA initiative is developed and managed by the Australian Research Council (ARC) as a major funder of public sector research.
