ACE00004 - Visual Arts Studio Access


At a glance

The Visual Arts Studio Access course has been designed with the artist in mind. Once students have completed specified units from a Visual Arts course at CQUniversity, this course allows access to the CQUniversity visual arts facilities for the artist create their own works. No assessment or instruction will be provided and artists will be supervised by teaching staff when in the visual arts studio. Artists accessing on-campus facilities will be required to use their own consumable resources. 


The fee for this course will be $95.00.

Practicing studio artist.

Entry Requirements

Students who meet the following criteria are eligible to participate in this opportunity:

  • Completed studio clusters at AQF Certificate III, IV, or Diploma level, or
  • Hold a relevant visual arts qualification (for example; CUV30111, CUA31115, CUV40111, CUA41315, CUV50111 or CUA51115).

Professional Recognition



Enrolment for this course is available throughout the year on a continuous basis. The CQUniversity Rockhampton City Visual Arts studio will be open at the following times:

Painting and Drawing Studio
Is available from 9 am - 3 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Silver-smithing Studio
Is available from 9 am - 3 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Printmaking Studio
Is available from 9 am - 3 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Studio access will be available from Monday, 29 January 2018 to Monday, 25 June 2018.
