Upon successful completion of this accredited short course, students will receive a Statement of Attainment for the units HLTAID009 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation, HLTAID010 - Provide basic emergency life support, and HLTAID011 - Provide first aid.
This accredited short course in First Aid and CPR provides the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty in line with first aid guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other Australian national peak clinical bodies. Students undertaking this short course will study the accredited units HLTAID009 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation, HLTAID010 - Provide basic emergency life support and HLTAID011 - Provide first aid.

Short Course in First Aid and CPR - Mixed Study Mode
Duration:This short course is delivered through mixed mode. Students will be required to complete the online theory training and assessment prior to attending a face-to-face practical assessment at their enrolled CQUniversity campus.
The course may take up to 8 hours to complete.

There are no entry requirements however it is highly recommended that students undertaking this short course wear comfortable, casual clothing. This course will include activities such as bending, kneeling and lying on the floor. Students will also require access to a computer or tablet with internet connection to complete the theory component of the course.
