This course is designed for those attending for the first time or are required to update their CPR skills/qualification annually. Upon successful completion of this accredited short course, students will receive a Statement of Attainment for the unit, HLTAID001 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

This accredited short course gives you the skills and knowledge to perform CPR on a person who is unconscious and not breathing normally. This course is designed for those attending for the first time or are required to update their CPR skills/qualification annually. Students undertaking this course will study the accredited unit HLTAID001 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Short Course in CPR - Mixed Study Mode

Duration:

This short course is delivered in Mixed Mode.  Students will complete on-line training and a theory assessment online and attend their local campus for a face-to-face assessment with an accredited trainer.

Typically students for this short course will take approximately 1.5 to 3.0 hours completing the on-line content. 

An additional 0.5hr completing the theory assessment including the completion of an injury and illness report form and 0.5hr completing an on campus practical assessment.

Total maximum time including all study and assessment aspects - 4.00hrs

Duration:

This short course is delivered in On-line Mode. Students will complete on-line training and complete assessments (theory and practical) online via Moodle (theory) and Zoom (practical)

Typically students for this short course will take approximately 1.5 to 3.0 hours completing the on-line content.

An additional 0.5hr completing the theory assessment including the completion of an injury and illness report form and 0.5hr completing an online (via Zoom) practical assessment.

Total maximum time including all study and assessment aspects - 4.00hrs

This short course is delivered face-to-face on campus.

Students will complete content training and assessments (theory and practical) in class or at an other suitable venue

Typically students for this short course will take approximately 3.0 hours completing content in class

An additional 0.5hr completing the theory assessment including the completion of an injury and illness report form and 0.5hr completing the practical assessment.

Total maximum time including all study and assessment aspects - 4.00hrs
