Welcome to the assessment module to complete the set of micro-credentials for ‘Intermediate Mathematics: Concepts and Skills’. The assessment tasks examine your understanding of the theories and concepts related to simultaneous equations; inequalities and absolute values; quadratic equations; logarithms; functions; geometry; trigonometry; variation, ratio, and proportion; sequences and series; statistics and standard deviation; probability; financial mathematics; and annuities. On successful completion of the assessment tasks, this course gives you a certificate of completion.

This online assessment module examines the topics covered in the Intermediate Mathematics - Concepts and Skills micro-credential set including simultaneous equations; inequalities and absolute values; quadratic equations; logarithms; functions; geometry; trigonometry; variation, ratio, and proportion; sequences and series; statistics and standard deviation; probability; financial mathematics; and annuities.

Students who successfully complete the set of 9 micro-credentials* developed from the unit MATH40228 Intermediate Mathematics for University, (which forms part of the Skills for Tertiary Education Preparatory Studies (STEPS) CL03), may be eligible for credit transfer, pending all other entry requirements to the Skills for Tertiary Education Preparatory Studies (STEPS) CL03 are being met, as automatic entry will not apply.

This module is only applicable for students seeking a credit transfer for the unit MATH40228, Intermediate Mathematics for University, in the Skills for Tertiary Education Preparatory Studies (STEPS) CL03 at CQUniversity.

This module contains the assessment items required for completion of the suite of 9 *micro-credentials.

Students can only gain access to this module upon completion of courses 1 - 8 of the micro-credential suite.
