CQUniversity has established a programme of Summer Research Scholarships to support students to undertake short-term research projects within the University’s areas of research strengths. The intent of this program is to raise aspirations in individuals to consider undertaking a research higher degree and support the development of research culture across the University.
The CQUniversity Summer Scholarship program provides an opportunity for current undergraduate students (3rd year and above) to gain additional research experience by undertaking a short term (8 week) project over the summer.
This Scholarship is open to both current Domestic and International students. Students enrolled at other universities are eligible to apply.
Intending applicants must identify a suitable supervisor within CQUniversity who will mentor the candidate through the project. The proposed supervisor will be required to provide a statement of support as part of the application.
The proposed project may be undertaken on any campus of CQUniversity, although it is strongly encouraged that the candidate is located at the same campus as the supervisor.
Please note that projects which will require Ethics Clearance from one of the CQUniversity Ethics Committees may need to secure an approval certificate before the scholarship application is submitted.
Applications must include all necessary supporting documents. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Applicants will need to supply the following supporting documentation:
- Written submission
- CQUniversity unofficial transcript
