This online Short Course outlines the immediate and life-saving interventions to provide to diabetic patients experiencing an abnormal Blood Sugar Level (BSL), and management of anomalies. A basic recap of the types of diabetes and the management of each type is provided.

  1. Recall the types of diabetes and standardised management of each
  2. Describe the physiological responses to the patient experiencing an unstable episode of diabetes
  3. Outline appropriate front lines interventions in the management of the diabetic patient.
