This online Short Course explores the relevance of cultural health practices and faith, and how this can influence the health care provision of individuals, families and groups.

- Identify the influence of cultural values and faith on perceptions of health, with respect for diversity
- Identify a number of cultural practices and beliefs from a variety of ethno-religious groups that require special consideration in the delivery of health care
- Describe the four basic concepts to alternative health practices.
There are no specific entry requirements, however, students enrolling in this course should work in the healthcare profession.
