You will be introduced to the CQUniCares Scholarship program and the process involved in selecting the most deserving recipient(s). You will be able to identify the various student demographics at CQUniversity, and recognise the important role you play as a panel member in the scholarship selection process. As a micro-credential, this course gives you a certificate of completion and a digital badge to display in your profile or share on social media. Please note, completion of this micro credential does not guarantee you will be invited to be part of the selection process – this will be dependent on opportunities available.

  1. Identify the various student demographics at CQUniversity and the unique challenges these students may experience whilst completing their studies
  2. Outline the role of the reviewer in the CQUniCares Scholarship application process and the importance of always maintaining student privacy and confidentiality
  3. Reflect on the impact CQUniCares Scholarships can have on our students, their families, and the wider community; as well as the important role you play in selecting the most deserving recipient(s) based on pre-determined eligibility criteria.

This online micro-credential will introduce you to the CQUniCares Scholarship program and the process involved in selecting the most deserving recipient(s).

Upon successful completion of the micro-credential, students will be awarded Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours, a non-creditable micro-credential (Digital Badge) and a Certificate of Completion.

Staff and donors wishing to undertake this training can access the course using an Enrolment Key available from Advancement and Alumni Relations Team.
